It was supposed to have a beachy ease. The word FLOAT was going to be stenciled along one edge, and if you look, it's still partially there. The painting had other ideas. Black drips push in from the corners, shapes don't quite resolve, paint runs where it wants to run. Underneath all of it, warm peach and pink and yellow hold their ground.
This is what happens when you stop fighting and let the painting go where it needs to go.
24” x 18” acrylic on canvas. Framed in a black wooden floating frame. Framed size is 25” x 19” x 1.5” Wired and ready to hang.
